William Shakespeare is truly one of the most unusual, amazing, and talented authors ever. He wrote a numerous amount of plays while he was alive.
Some of them I would have to say would fall into the unusual category of his work like, Midsummer Nights Dream. I don't believe I have ever dreamed or thought that a couple of men and women liking a person of the opposite sex could turn into such a mess. This play was every where up and down, side to side. I found myself struggling to try to figure out which man like which women and vis versa.
I would have to say that Romeo and Juliet is Shakespeare's most amazing piece of literature. I think that this amazing love story will last till the end of time, and it should. Even though at times Shakespeare's language can be somewhat difficult to understand his work is truly a piece of art.

Scary Movies
When I was a child my parents didn't allow me to watch scary movies. So now that I am 19 years old I still don't like scary movies. So Sweeney Todd was a big deal to me. I guess I have never really been into seeing a persons head be cut off. After watching this movie I think that I will stick to my belief that all scary movies are bad! Even though I do have to say the singing in the movie was amazing but somewhat over done I still can't get over the blood and how Mr. Todd referred to his cutting tool as his "friend".
Black and White Movies
I would like to discuss the topic of black and white movies. Some people believe they are old and that's there is better things to be watching than a black and white film. After watching Arsenic & Old Lace, My thoughts toward black and white movies completely changed.
One of the reasons that my thoughts have changed was because of the dark comic elements this movie provided for it's audience. It was truly amazing that the director found away to make people laugh at the old aunt's for all the murdering they did. It was so very funny in so many different ways. I found myself while laughing saying, " that's horrible" but i was still laughing.
I feel like old movies have so many elements that movies today don't have. Black and white movies really are a wonderful thing. After changing my mind I am looking forward to watching more movies like Arsenic & Old Lace in the future.
