Scary Movies

When I was a child my parents didn't allow me to watch scary movies. So now that I am 19 years old I still don't like scary movies. So Sweeney Todd was a big deal to me. I guess I have never really been into seeing a persons head be cut off. After watching this movie I think that I will stick to my belief that all scary movies are bad! Even though I do have to say the singing in the movie was amazing but somewhat over done I still can't get over the blood and how Mr. Todd  referred to his cutting tool as his "friend".

  1. I am the same way! Scary movies absolutely terrify me. I watched the crazies a year ago and still have nightmares about it. The blood in Sweeney Todd was a lot, but thankfully it looked really fake. But yes, I totally agree, scary movies are definitely not for me.

  2. I don't really like scary movies either so I'm glad this one was more gross then scary. I still didn't enjoy the blood either I think less blood would have been better. I also thought it was weird he called his razors his "friends" I think he needed some help.

  3. I am in complete agreement with you about scary movies. I have never liked them and I found this one too gruesome. I did enjoy the singing and the irony of the story, but I would not watch it again.
